About Foodisco

Foodisco turns a photo of your plate into a complete picture of your day: every ingredient with grams, calories and macros, a Health Score built from nutrition, movement, sleep and recovery, and a coach that says what fits next after every meal. From there it continues into a weekly plan, a shopping list and family planning. Foodisco is built by a small team in Germany and available in German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Portuguese.

What Foodisco does

Photo instead of searchingPhotograph your plate and every ingredient appears with grams, calories and macros, in seconds. Plus a barcode scanner (over 4 million foods) and voice input: just say what you ate.
Health Score and coachA value from 0 to 100 from nutrition, movement, sleep, HRV and resting heart rate, with data from Apple Health and Apple Watch. After every meal a concrete tip, tuned to your goals, training and sleep.
Every recipe becomes yoursPaste a link from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook or any website, or share it to Foodisco: the recipe arrives with its picture, ingredients, steps and nutrition. Also cookbook pages and handwritten notes from a photo, several photos in one go, and your own Thermomix recipes from Cookidoo. Cooking mode walks through one step per screen, timers are picked out of the text, portions scale live, allergens are marked and alternatives suggested. Plus over 600 curated recipes, all in 8 languages. Import is part of Pro.
From the week to the shopThe weekly planner builds meal plans around your goals, budget and tastes. One tap turns it into a shopping list you can order online.

The iPhone Duo update

Foodisco is redesigned for the iPhone Duo display. Half-opened like a laptop, the upper half shows what you look at (photo, recipe, daily overview), the lower half what you operate (buttons, input). Nothing is stretched across the fold.
Opened like a book, the app shows two pages side by side; unfolded flat, it uses the whole display.
Nothing sits on the fold, and what you were typing survives every fold. Both are checked automatically on every screen in all four poses and all eight languages.
Every screen passes WCAG 2.1 AA checks, also at the largest text size.
The update also brings Siri answers about today's meal plan in all eight languages, meal reminders with action buttons, and Control Center controls for scan and voice.
